A set of four oil paintings by Leopold Simons that depict every day french scenes. He was an artist born in 1901 and he has since become known for his works. I can see these looking great in a hallway, bathroom, toilet or even in a bar! Sourced in France, each painting has been mounted in a wooden frame and has a rustic look. Each painting has been signed.
Dimensions:
Women with buckets painting 22cm wide x 18cm high
People in bar painting 20.5cm wide x 19cm high
People farming in field 19cm wide x 21cm high
Man eating fries 22cm wide x 19cm high
Condition:
The paintings are in overall good vintage condition for their age with some minor signs of wear. The frames are in fair vintage condition with no major signs of damage however please note that there are some tiny holes in the frames which could be from woodworm. The painting of the man eating fries has one of the nails poking through to the other side of the wood. You can't see this when it's hanging up and it could definitely be pulled out a bit so it's not poking out!
Please note that these paintings have therefore been priced according to their current condition.
I endeavour to mention any wear but please be aware that these items are not always in perfect condition. If you would like further information regarding the condition, I am always happy to answer any questions you have. Shipping
As these items are fragile in their nature, I normally ship each piece in its own box. If I can safely package two paintings in one box I will and refund you the excess paid. For all international orders, please be aware that legally I am required to note the exact amount paid on all invoices and therefore there may be import duties/taxes due upon delivery.
