A very rare Meissen porcelain Candleabra in a beautiful blue and white pattern. It is believed to be from German in the early 19th century.
Meissen porcelain (which is also called Dresden porcelain or porcelaine de Saxe) is a German hard-paste, or true, porcelain produced which was produced at the Meissen factory, near Dresden in Saxony (now Germany), from 1710 until the present day.
The candleabra features the authentic Meissen blue crossed swords mark on the bottom.
Please note that the top of the candleabra can be pulled off the base (this has been pictured to show how it comes apart).
