A beautiful early Victorian French pine chest of drawers wash stand with a gallery back. It is believed to be circa 1840 and features ceramic handles and is in impeccable condition for its age.
These would have traditionally been using in a bedroom as a chest of drawers which would have had a large bowl on top for washing. They can of course be used anywhere in the home now, and I can see it looking beautiful in a nursery, bathroom or they could make lovely study or sitting room drawers as you can display trinkets inside without fear of damage due to the protection of the gallery back.
Before shipping the wood will be refreshed with high quality wax.
